The children, who are studying at the Resource Center for Educational Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, performed a small touching Christmas concert for the heads and employees of Lviv Polytechnic. They wished everybody Happy New Year 2019 and Merry Christmas.
Children, wearing colorful national costumes, performed lots of Christmas carols, shchedrivkas and poetry, which were warmly received by the audience. One of the girls skillfully performed a melody on the violin that was unexpectedly for the listeners.
As you know, the Resource Center for Educational Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities has been successfully operating in Lviv Polytechnic for eight years in a row. Rector of University, Professor Yurii Bobalo, did his best to establish and develop this unique inclusive education institution. During this time, the Director of the Center Oksana Potymko and the staff have done a lot to help visually impaired children study. Now many students from different regions of Ukraine study here. The amount of newly published Braille book increases every year.
Expressing his gratitude, Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic Roman Korzh noted the enthusiasm and dedication of the employees of the Center and presented children with the New Year’s gifts.
