New hackathon for students: for original ideas you can get money and interesting experience

The Institute of Regional Development and Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic, are launching a new project – Hackyourfuture, which aims to let young people realize their interesting ideas.

«You are an active young person. You have ideas for development projects for your communities and the country, namely ideas for developing digital solutions in the field of social, economic, environmental, democratic innovation and transparency. Or you are an IT professional who is ready to help develop digital solutions to improve the lives of communities and the country. You want to compete for a prize for the development of your project. Then we invite you to take part in the hackathon on the community and country development projects involving digital solutions», said organizers of the event on the Facebook page.

There will be:

  • at least 16 hours of interesting, intensive work in a team of like-minded people under the guidance of experienced international mentors to turn the idea into an important project;
  • mini-workshops on project development and pitching;
  • MONEY PRIZE FOR THE BEST TEAM PROJECT;
  • A special prize for the interesting team project.

The event takes place from October 8 to 9 in Lviv (if the epidemiological situation allows) or from October 6 to 9 in an online format.

Participation in the hackathon is free.

The initiators of community or country development projects involving digital solutions and social, economic, environmental and democratic innovations are invited to participate in the event. Preference will be given to young people from the Western regions of Ukraine, as well as project ideas, on the basis of which it is possible to develop a useful and viable project with digital solutions for two days.

You must register till September 18 by filling out the form.

The names of participants will be announced till September 23.
