As a member of the Secretariat for the preparation of the Patriarchal Council of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Iryna Kliuchkovska, Director of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, took part in an online meeting of the Secretariat members with His Beatitude Sviatoslav.
The All-Ukrainian Council of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Churches on «Emigration, Settlement and Global Unity of the UGCC» was to take place on August 26–29, 2020 in Lviv, but because of COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, it was postponed to the second half of 2021. The Primate of the UGCC expressed a desire to meet periodically online to continue working on the preparation of the VII session of the Council. According to him, the main point of activity is cooperation with the dioceses and exarchates of the world.
Another topic of the online meeting was life and work of the Church in a post-Coronavirus world. His Beatitude Sviatoslav urged to dwell upon it together with the Synodal working group on the pastoral plan of the UGCC.
