A presentation of The European way of Ukrainian. Mykhailo Parashchuk will be held on December 23, 2020 within the framework of the DiasPORAznaty project.

Ternopil – Warsaw – Munich – Vienna – Lviv – Moscow – Kyiv – Thalerhof concentration camp – Reveli – Rastatt – Sofia… Sculpture – architecture – student activism – politics – diplomacy… Adam Mickiewicz monument in Lviv – decoration of architectural monuments in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Hungary, France – dozens of unique sculpture portraits, decorative and monumental sculpture in various art genres…

The International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, invites you to discover the greatness of Mykhailo Parashchuk (1878 – 1963), a world-famous and underestimated Ukrainian sculptor, architect, diplomat, and public activist. The contribution of an Outstanding Ukrainian to European culture, the best samples of the world art through the prism of Ukrainian identity, versatility of student of Lviv Polytechnic and other European universities, artist-diplomat, his life and fight for Ukrainian statehood – we will talk about all this and much more at the presentation of The European way of Ukrainian. Mykhailo Parashchuk.

  • Yurii Bobalo – Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Professor;
  • Vitalii Moskalenko – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Bulgaria;
  • Anna Tertychna – Adviser to the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Bulgaria;
  • Iryna Matiash – Chairman of the Board of the Scientific Society of the History of Diplomacy and International Relations, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor;
  • Iryna Kliuchkovska – Director of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations;
  • Roman Yatsiv – Vice-Rector of Lviv National Academy of Arts, Candidate of Art History, Professor;
  • Oksana Zheplynska – Head of the Department of Ukrainian art of the XVIII – early XX centuries, Andrei Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv.

The event will take place on the Zoom platform in the form of a presentation and dialogue. We invite students, academic staff, researchers, journalists, representatives of public organizations in the world and in Ukraine and all interested persons.
