This year Wheelchair Fencing Championship took place in Korea. More than 200 athletes from 20 countries, including Ukraine, participated in the competition. Our country was represented by 15 athletes, three of them Lvivites – Andrii Demchuk, Anton Datsko and Nataliia Morkvych.
On September 23, a team of Ukrainian athletes, consisting of Andrii Demchuk and Anton Datsko, won gold in saber fencing.
Andrii Demchuk – a student, postgraduate student, academic of Lviv Polytechnic National University, honored master of sports of Ukraine and saber champion at the XV Summer Paralympic Games 2016.
