A special working group should be established to develop the projects. Group should include Lviv Polytechnic experts, the local government officers, representatives of business and nongovernmental organizations, and active citizens of the town/village. Lviv Polytechnic experts provide the methodological and organizational assistance, carry out the expert assessment of the community and the opportunities for development of the city, help to interview the residents and local businesses, and facilitate the interaction with media. As a result, the developed project of the Strategic development plan of city for the next 10 years, supported at the public hearing, is submitted to the meeting of the City Council for approval.
