On November 8, 2018, in Kyiv there was a presentation of integrated solutions for Universal Design according to the results of two Schools of Universal Design for lecturers and young scientists held within the framework of the Joint Project of the United Nations Development Programme, the World Health Organization and the International Labor Organization «Promotion of Integration Policy and Services for People with Disabilities in Ukraine» with the support of the UN Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Mariana Senkiv, Assistant at the Department of Tourism of Lviv Polytechnic National University, took part in the School of Universal Design for lecturers, after which she designed and submitted to the competition for educational programs for higher education institutions of Ukraine the Universal Accessibility in International Tourism program.
By the decision of the jury of the contest, Mariana Senkiv was awarded the second place and a grant to refine and implement her program into the educational process.
