On October 28 Poliphoniia Folk Chamber Orchestra celebrated its anniversary in the House of Organ and Chamber Music. The celebration joined Crescendo Chamber Orchestra (Kharkiv) and Musica Juvenalis (Kosice, Slovakia).
On the eve of the celebration invited bands gave solo performances in various locations of the city: Kharkiv Orchestra performed in the mirror hall of the Pototskyi Palace, and the Slovak Orchestra – in the Latin Cathedral. Crescendo is a student chamber orchestra that performs a very different classical music. It was not its first time in Lviv. But the Musica Juvenalis, the Kosice University Orchestra, performed here for the first time. By the way, next year in late June – early July in Kosice there will be held the Schengen Poludnik festival, in which Poliphoniia Folk Chamber Orchestra will take part.
