13th International Symposium of Ukrainian Mechanic Engineers in Lviv

Program committee invites you to participate in the 13th International Symposium of Ukrainian Mechanic Engineers in Lviv (ISUMEL – 13), which will be held on May 18–19, 2017.

The symposium is aimed at exchanging academic ideas and discussing new results of fundamental and applied research in the field of mechanics and mechanical engineering, forming the priority trends in further research of the issues discussed in terms of modern development of the economy in Ukraine, establishing professional contacts between experts.

The Symposium will be held in one of the leading and oldest technical universities of Europe – Lviv Polytechnic National University, founded in 1816 and located in one of the most beautiful cities of Ukraine – ancient Lviv.

Symposium topics

  1. Applied problems of the dynamics and durability of machines and constructions.
  2. Mathematical and physical problems of the crack theory in mechanics.
  3. Modeling, synthesis and optimization of mechanical engineering constructions.
  4. Advanced technologies in mechanical engineering and industry automation.
  5. Welding technology and metal constructions diagnostics.
  6. Modern materials, surface treatment and protection of machines and constructions components.
  7. Tribology.
  8. Vehicle design, manufacturing, exploitation and service.
  9. Elevation-transportation equipment and machine drive elements.
  10. Vibrations in engineering and technologies.

Working languages – Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Symposium papers will be published in a separate volume and given to the participants at registration.
