The pupils’ artworks from first to fourth grades of the Education and Rehabilitation Center “Lewenia” of the municipal institution of Lviv Regional Council, who participated in the National Painting Contest “The peaceful atom” and were acknowledged to be the best, were exhibited in the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University. During three months they were displayed in the Exhibition Gallery of the University.
The painters were given a chance to visit Historical Museum of Lviv Polytechnic National University as a reward. Together with Vita Semeniuk, the social care teacher and Ivanna Terletska-Pavliv, the primary school teacher, they visited the old technical laboratory, where everyone had the opportunity to touch to the real technical inventions of the past century.
Students of the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems of Lviv Polytechnic National University together with Tetiana Rymar and Oksana Yurasev, the academic supervisors, made an interesting and exciting excursion of the museum. The pupils who were exploring enthusiastically the illustrations about the stages of Lviv Polytechnic National University foundation, eminent lecturers and scientists who worked here at different times and glorious alumnus of the famous educational institution and they also acquainted with the displays related to various areas of technological advances.
After the excursion, pupils receive sweets and sketchbooks as gifts from the students and it became a pleasant emotional end of the excursion.
