On April 29, an open lecture was held at the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, Lviv Polytechnic, with the participation of representatives of Renesas Electronics. Students learned about the company's products, as well as the structure of its Lviv office. They also got acquainted with job offers, requirements and peculiarities of employment.

Renesas Electronics is a Japanese tech giant, one of the largest chip manufacturers in the world, employing more than 20,000 people. The Ukrainian office of the company is located in Lviv.

Students had the opportunity to see with their own eyes some developments of the Ukrainian office of Renesas, try out their functionality and discuss them with the lecturers. Polytechnicians even offered their ideas to improve the devices. The meeting took place in an interesting form of dialogue.

The lecturers talked about the structure of the Lviv office and the activities of all division teams, introduced the requirements for applicants for trainee positions, and also presented the company's internship training program.

A unique demonstration of the company's chip development was a real semiconductor (silicon) wafer on which the chips are formed and later cut.

The company is open for student internships, and then possible employment. Discussion of terms and any dialogue is encouraged here. Job offers can be found on Work.ua, Dou or on the company's website, and if you have any questions, contact information is included in the photo and presentation.
